Recruitment agencies without a SECO Placement Licence, and especially agencies that are based outside of Switzerland, are prohibited from directly arranging commercial placements related to Switzerland.
Altus Search’s Zug Branch is authorised to facilitate permanent placements into Switzerland thanks to its SECO Placement Licence.
Non-Swiss recruitment agencies who know of permanent placement opportunities in Switzerland may have Altus Search carry out those placements on their behalf in return for a fee.
Partnering with Altus Search allows those agencies to benefit from the SECO Placement Licence of Altus Search’s Zug Branch and ensure the placement of their candidates from abroad or locally with clients based in Switzerland is in compliance with Swiss regulatory requirements.
Altus Search will manage the recruitment and billing process. For every successful placement the respective success fee collected by Altus Search will be shared between the unlicensed recruitment agency and Altus Search as per SECO Conditions.
